Founded by Lori Turner-Wilson and Julie Lunn — friends and colleagues during their time leading sales, marketing and communications divisions in the Fortune 1000 world — RedRover’s initial name was BlueMoon Marketing & Communications.

90 days later the brand evolved to RedRover — Breakthrough Marketing & Communications — as the objective of the game RedRover was to break through the arms of the other team. Turner-Wilson and Lunn were certainly known for more than their share of disruptive, breakthrough marketing strategies..

2008
Founder, Julie Lunn, moved to Nashville, TN and opened RedRover’s second office there. Meanwhile, Turner-Wilson was invited to join the EmergeMemphis high-growth business incubator which meant a move to downtown Memphis into the historic South Main Arts district to join many other high-growth companies in this collaborative co-working space at the corner of Tennessee and GE Patterson. As an incubator company, aggressive growth goals were set for achievement within five years.

2010
Turner-Wilson, and the growing Memphis pack, met its five-year incubator growth goals within just two-and-a-half years, graduated early from the EmergeMemphis program and moved into the D. Canale building on South Front Street.

2013
The Memphis pack outgrew its new digs on South Front Street far more quickly than planned and moved to the historic Falls Building on North Front. The Falls Building was built in 1911 and put on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

Turner-Wilson released her book — WOOF: Why Ordinary Organizations Fail — which is a collection of lessons and advice from Lori’s career in sales and marketing. This book shot up to Amazon’s top 10 best-selling sales books shortly after launch, and has since won accolades including an International Communicator Award.

She attributes much of her success to the leadership lessons taught in those early Scout days, which is why Lori was asked to deliver an inspirational keynote at the Girls Scouts national conference in Memphis
