I first heard about RedRover more than ten years ago when I met our founder and CEO, Lori Turner-Wilson. I was working independently as a freelancer and Lori hired me to produce a video project – video is my specialty. I remember being impressed with her idea for this fledgling company she called RedRover and her vision of consistently delivering proven, measurable results for her clients.
As a big fan right away, I followed RedRover over the years. Imagine how thrilled I was to join the team in 2015! I’ve been a member of the pack now for three years (that’s 21 in dog years). Sometimes it seems like 21 actual years, but in a good way. The fast-paced lifestyle of an agency team is no exaggeration. That being said, variety, comradery, and creative thinking abound and there are no better ingredients for building a team. We constantly exchange ideas and work in concert to make incredible things happen for our clients.
My favorite characteristic of RedRover is how the company has remained true to its purpose. As British statesman Benjamin Disraeli once said, “The secret of success is constancy to purpose.” RedRover has five core values that align with our purpose. These values set us apart and act as our compass in conducting business. Every team member is here because they live and breathe these values in their day-to-day.
The one that stands out most to me is self-disciplined and accountable because nothing is accomplished unless we are all self-disciplined and accountable. The success of every client on our roster belongs to each one of us and everybody takes that truth very seriously. I’ve witnessed the dedication of people around me in all different positions, from the top down, who make a point of doing what they said they would do and holding themselves accountable for deadlines, deliverables and promises made.
I am a lucky dog! It’s wonderful to be surrounded by intelligent, creative, like-minded, dog and cat-loving people. RedRover’s dedication to retaining a diverse pool of experts and their “right people, right seats” mentality is creating a force to be reckoned with down at the doghouse on Front Street. And I’d love for you to join us.
