In moments like this, it can be hard to know where to turn for comfort when one of the most obvious beacons of hope is the very person who was taken from us last night.
RedRover joins the community in mourning the loss of Phil Trenary–a fearless leader and an unstoppable force. A colleague, advisor, and friend.
He loved this community–that was evident whether you spent five minutes or five hours with him. He was one of the leading voices in urging this city to become as great as it can possibly be. He had a gift of asking simple questions to prod complex discussions and solutions.
We at RedRover are resolved in remembering what he would have wanted in this very moment: celebrate what’s good in this city, work together to bring about positive change that needs to happen, and don’t lose hope.
Our sympathies go out to his family, friends, colleagues, and the entire Greater Memphis Chamber team.
